The UK Government's Genealogy Portal - http://www.familyrecords.gov.uk/default.asp, which I have only just come across, features our very own Charles Darwin in this anniversary year. The Darwin microsite contains a PDF Family Tree showing the complex Wedgwood-Darwin inter-relationship, information on his Darwin ancestors.
There do, at present seem to be some technical difficulties with the page – some links point, inexplicably, to Lewis Carroll related information. I will alert them!
